An EOB is a statement from your health insurance carrier describing what costs it will cover for medical care or products you’ve received.
This will explain exactly what the insurance company will pay and what you are responsible to pay. If you feel the insurance company is not covering what you beleieve they should then check your brochure for limitations and state regulations. If you still feel they need to pay more, then an appeal can be filed and is done quite often.
Smart Tip: Insurance companies are not in business to hand out money. Sometimes it is necessary to stay on top of them. We recommend our Concierge/ Hand Holding service.
Always keep in mind, doctors “In Network” Don’t all have the same contractual PPO discount rates.
